About Jim Anton
Jim Anton is an award winning bassist , composer and educator living in the twin cities. He is currently touring with A&M recording artist Jonny Lang. Jim can be heard on Jonny’s 2006 Grammy Award winning album Turnaround. He has also performed and recorded with Greazy Meal, former Time guitarist Jesse Johnson, Peter Ostrushko, SteveTibbetts, Ruth MacKenzie’s “Kalevala”, Dean Magraw, Glen Phillips, The Jayhawks, John Gorka, Evan and Jaron, Mandy Moore and, Har Mar Superstar. Jim has shared the stage playing bass with Jackson Browne, David Crosby, Indigo Girls, Greg Brown,B ernard Purdie, Jack McDuff, Lowen and Navarro, and former Tonight Show band leader Doc Severenson.
